DOLPHIN TOUR

Kizimkazi is the southern most village on the island and is known for the wildlife its waters have to offer.
The waters are home to several schools of bottle-nosed and humpback dolphins which can be  sighted by boat. If lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins in their natural habitat! This is a once in a lifetime experience.
Kizimkazi is also the site of a 12th century mosque’s ruins. These ruins are the earliest evidence of Islam in the East Africa and thus worth a visit for cultural reasons.

JOZANI FOREST TOUR

This forest is home to the Red Colobus Monkey, rare species found in Zanzibar.
These monkeys are full of character and roam the forest freely. Jozani is also home to other species including Sykes Monkeys, Small buck, Chameleons and Bush Pigs.
The elusive Zanzibar Leopard (last spotted several years ago) is said to feed in the forest at night.
Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative. A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights the island has to offer.

SPICE TOUR

The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, saffron and many other spices which brought to the island the Sultans of Oman.
These various spices can be seen across the island but the tour is located in private plantations just outside Zanzibar Town.
The tour consists of opportunities to dazzle to senses with fresh spices. This tour has been developed especially with in depth information about spices, organically grown herbs and a detailed description of their traditional uses in medicine, cosmetics and of course cooking.
After the tour guests are invited to a tasting at the guide’s home, where you can sample the spices and local fruits.
